On one hand, we’re getting a ton of games for Sony’s next-gen VR headset that have been specifically built or overhauled to make use of the new hardware, but it also means a lot of games in your PSVR library will forever be stuck in the past. The PSVR 2 edition of Jurassic World Aftermath Collection will arrive day and date, as a launch title for the hardware.The lack of backwards compatibility between PSVR 2 and the original PSVR is a bit of a double-edged sword. It’ll also have 3D audio effects and make use of the PSVR 2’s rumble ability. The new VR, upgraded version will boost pretty much everything from the base titles, even targeting 90fps play at 4K. To survive, they’ll need to explore and solve puzzles, while evading a menagerie of ferocious dinosaurs, including ravenous Pteranodons, cunning Velociraptors, and the terrifying T. Ian Malcolm (voiced by Jeff Goldblum), players find themselves trapped in an abandoned research facility when their mission to recover valuable information goes disastrously wrong. In this fully voice-acted narrative featuring Sam (voiced by Laura Bailey) and Dr. Set between the events of the Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdomfilms, Jurassic World Aftermath Collection begins with players crash-landing on Isla Nublar after the fall of the Jurassic World theme park. Also announced is a PSVR 2 edition, which will offer up a much more up close and personal view on the action. The game includes both part 1 and 2 of the game, and won’t be the last that fans see of the titles. The game is looking sharp, presenting an animated look at the fallout from the original Jurassic World. As you can see there, Jurassic World Aftermath Collection is schedule to land on Switch this month, on November 10th.
